The Alien Queen is metal cast figure in 1/35th scale. As soon as I saw it and found out the scale of it, I knew exactly what I was going to do with it.

After I painted the Queen a flat black, I proceeded to dry-brush her with a flat dark blue and then highlighting her teeth with a flat white.

Poor old Bishop is a 1/35th scale military figure built up with various part from my spares box. His 'guts' are made from brass wire and putty. He was painted then glued in position. A thinned solution of flat white was used to simulate the milky 'whateva it is' stuff inside of him.
