This kit was built a couple of months after I had seen Robocop 2 at the movies. One of the biggest impression that was made on me was the colour change made to Robocop, most noticed to me at the start of the movie.

He was no longer silver, but a blue tint ran through Murphy's suit. Relying on only my memory at the time, I enthusiastically commenced on the kit.

Robocop was first painted silver then a few coats of Tamiya Transparent Blue was used over the top.

I was so proud of the finish until I viewed the movie again and realized that 'Robo' was a bit too blue.

Anyway, at the end of the day, I'm still happy with the finish. He shines well.
