This is an 'out of the box' kit. The T-1000's skin textures were painted with oil paints. Because of it's very slow drying time, I have found that oil paints are the perfect medium for skin giving me ample time to paint and shade the face with great control.

The rest of the kit was painted with acrylic. This type of paint is recommended on vinyl. If you use enamel for example, the vinyl reacts with the paint and stays permanently tacky. This sucks! The kit was painted flat black then dry-brushed with a dark blue shade.
