Most
of my scratch/kitbashed models tend to have a large amount of surface
detail, I thought I might try to create a light craft that was sleek
and small in design. Here it is!
The
cockpit is the Stinger craft from DSV which wasn't a too bad a show.
The interior was super-detailed and a 1/24 scale Harrier pilot used
as the personnel. The hull is an old Monogram concept stealth fighter
kit.
The
wings are 'bashed' from the same Harrier kit as the pilot with a fair
bit of puttying done then sanded smooth. Engine detail was scavenged
from my ever trusty spare parts box with sheet plastic for the 'deflectors',
painted black.
The
front canards also from the spare parts box and I haven't got a bloody
clue where there came from originaly.
The
whole craft was painted from a Humbrol aerosol can then a little weathering
added to show some type of speed.
